What are PROMs?
Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) are academically validated questionnaires for the measurement of patient experienced care and health. Asking your patients to fill-in these questionnaires at relevant points throughout treatment yields valuable feedback as to the effectiveness of treatment. Effectiveness of treatment might be expressed in terms of improvements in Quality of Life, pain, mobility, social and/or psychosocial functioning of the patient. NETQ Healthcare toolkit also includes the PREM (Patient Reported Experience Measure). This relatively short and user-friendly questionnaire captures a patient’s experience with health care and service.
Additionally, NETQ Healthcare’s toolkit includes the CQ-Index which measures an Institutions Net Promoter Score: a score by which patients state whether they would recommend the care, service and institutions to others.
